| biological activity | Diphyllin is an arylnaphthalene lignan isolated from justeria procumbens, is a potent HIV-1 inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.38 μm. Diphyllin also has activity against vesicular stomatitis Virus (VSV) and influenza Virus. Diphyllin is a V-ATPase inhibitor with an IC50 of 17 nM and inhibits lysosomal acidification in human osteoclasts. Diphyllin inhibits NO production with an IC50 value of 50 μm and has anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory activity. |
